AUCTION FUNDRAISER INSTRUCTIONS
Goal: collect 200 donated artworks to be shown in three two-week phases. Main Gallery: Silent Bidding Auction from July 9th through August 22nd.
South Gallery: $20 “buy now” items for sale. Please donate smaller artworks, prints, studies, small sculptures.
Artwork Preparation:
Main Gallery: ready to hang with hanging wire on the back. Hanging clips and saw tooth hangers will work if needed.
South Gallery: hanging wire not required, but if you want your work hung, hanging wire is preferred. Sculptures will be placed on pedestals and tables.
Tag Your Work: Fill out the Artwork Donation Form,
one for each artwork, and attach to the artwork prior
to delivery. This information will be used to send you
a receipt stating the value of your donation for tax purposes.
Delivery of Artwork:
Delivery of artwork is ongoing through July 6.
During regular business hours:
• Wednesday - Sunday, 11am to 6pm
• Tuesdays - call 206-233-0680 to see if open. • We are closed on the following dates:
May 17 through June 3 (NW Folklife takes over gallery)
If in doubt, call 206-233-0680 to make sure someone is available. Final delivery window:
Weekend of July 5 and 6, 10am to 2pm.
(If possible, please deliver artwork during regular business hours to avoid the busy delivery weekend.)
Make sure you attach an Artwork Donation Form to each donated artwork prior to delivery.
Pickup of Artwork:
If your artwork was not sold, you will be informed by email. Please reply stating if you prefer to pick up or donate your work permanently to A/NT Gallery.
Pickup window will be for two days, Saturday, 8/23 and Sunday, 8/24, 10am to 2pm. After that you will need to contact Ron, rjones@antgallery.org, to arrange pickup through 8/27.
The gallery will be closed for Bumbershoot from 8/28 to 9/5. After that, you may pick up work during normal business hours, 11am to 6pm, starting on 9/10. Any work not picked up by 9/26 will be considered a donation to the gallery.
