Public Benefit Show Archive

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2024

The Colorization Collective is an organization that supports teen artists of color from around the world. This exhibition showcases the work of youth from our 2023 and 2024 Summer Mentorship Program, where teens of color worked under the guidance of professional BIPOC visual artists and writers over the course of five weeks. Our teens created artwork in a wide variety of disciplines - sculpture to comics to abstract acrylic paintings - and strengthened their artistic skills along the way. Through this program and exhibition, we hope to showcase the incredible art that has come out of this program and celebrate our participants' hard work.
